  • Beneficiaries
  • Direct debits

  • Scheduled payments
  • Product information
Additionally, they provide information about account holders and related parties.

Payment Initiation APIs (v1.2)

The Payment Initiation APIs (v1.2) enable secure initiation and management of customer payments with consent. They support:
  • Creating and managing payment consents
  • Initiating single payments
  • Retrieving payment status
  • Handling refunds
  • Bulk or file-based payments and reporting
These APIs form the foundation of open finance payment services, enabling trusted third parties to initiate and track payments securely on behalf of customers.

Products and Leads APIs

The Products and Leads APIs enable secure and unified access to available product data. They provide:
  • Structured, up-to-date information on features, rates, eligibility, and terms
  • Functionality to create and post leads, allowing seamless product applications
These APIs form the foundation of open finance product journeys, enabling trusted third parties to present product options and manage lead submissions securely on behalf of customers.

Confirmation of Payee API (v1.2)

The Confirmation of Payee API (v1.2) enables secure verification of payee account details within the UAE Open Finance framework. It supports:
  • Confirmation of account holder names against provided identifiers (e.g., IBANs)
  • Discovery operations to identify the appropriate Licensed Financial Institution (LFI) for verification
  • Confirmation operations to validate payee details
This ensures accurate and secure payment processing.
